Buruk stated that the team has had a chance to breathe after a demanding fixture schedule, noting that they have competed intensely across the Champions League, Süper Lig, and Turkish Cup throughout the season. He emphasized that both physical and mental fatigue have occasionally affected the players during this period.

Addressing the impact of injuries, Buruk said that some players have had to feature while not fully fit. Despite these challenges, he highlighted that the team remains top of the league and holds an advantage in the title race.

Looking at their league performance this season, Galatasaray sit at the top of the table with 21 wins, 5 draws, and 3 losses in 29 matches. The team averages 2.3 goals per game, while conceding 22 goals, showing a balanced overall performance.
