Mikel Arteta Agrees New Arsenal Contract as Champions Start Strongly

With 59.4% average possession and an 86.8% pass completion rate, Arsenal rank among the Premier League’s leading sides for control. The attacking output has been solid rather than explosive — 1.60 goals and 1.81 xG per 90 — but the defensive platform has again made them one of the division’s most difficult opponents to break down.
