How StatsLook Match Predictions Work
StatsLook generates match predictions using a probabilistic simulation framework built on real football performance data and statistical modeling.
Data Inputs
The simulation engine analyzes multiple layers of football data, including:
- Player performance statistics
- Team performance metrics
- Historical match results
- Recent team form
- Tactical lineups and formations
- League and competition strength
These inputs allow the model to evaluate both individual player impact and overall team structure.
Machine Learning Model
StatsLook's prediction model is trained on more than 100,000 historical matches and thousands of player performance records.
The model learns how different variables — such as team strength, player quality, form, and tactical structure — influence match outcomes and match statistics.
Monte Carlo Simulation
For each match prediction, StatsLook runs 50,000 Monte Carlo simulations.
Instead of producing a single score prediction, the system generates probability distributions for:
- Match outcomes (win / draw / loss probabilities)
- Most likely scorelines
- Expected goals ranges
- Match statistics projections (shots, possession, fouls, cards, etc.)
- Team performance ranges
This approach reflects the uncertain nature of football and provides a range of realistic outcomes rather than a single deterministic prediction.
Real Data Foundation
All simulations are based on real football data provided by licensed data providers.
StatsLook does not generate random predictions — all outputs are derived from statistical models built on real match and player data.
Not Betting Advice
StatsLook is not a betting platform and does not provide gambling services.
All predictions and simulations are provided for informational, analytical, and research purposes only and should be interpreted as statistical insights, not guaranteed outcomes.
Decision Support System
StatsLook is designed as a football decision support system that helps users:
- Analyze matches
- Compare players and teams
- Evaluate possible match scenarios
- Simulate transfers and team impact
- Run season and scenario simulations
The goal of StatsLook is not just to predict matches, but to help users understand why certain outcomes are more likely than others using data and simulation models.
